Strong earthquake shocks were felt in Nepal on Friday night. This 6.4 magnitude earthquake wreaked havoc in Nepal. According to news agency Reuters, 70 people have died in Nepal so far due to this earthquake, while hundreds of people have been injured. Nepal has experienced a strong earthquake for the third time in a month. The epicenter of this earthquake was in Lamidanda area of Jajarkot district of Nepal.
The tremors of this earthquake in Nepal were also felt in many parts of North India including Delhi-NCR. As soon as the tremors of this earthquake which occurred at around 11:32 pm were felt, people started coming out of their houses. There was an atmosphere of panic all around. Its aftershocks were felt in Delhi, UP, Bihar and several states of North India.
So far 70 people have died, hundreds are injured
Let us tell you that 70 people have died so far while a large number of people have been injured due to this tremendous earthquake in Nepal. However, the death toll may rise further. Many houses have collapsed due to the earthquake. News agency Reuters has given this information. 34 people have died in Jajarkot district while many are injured. Along with this, the death of 36 people has been confirmed in Rukum district. Let us tell that the population of Jajarkot is 1 lakh 90 thousand. There is a lot of damage reported here. Relief and rescue work has been started. Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Dahal has expressed grief over this incident.
Third earthquake in Nepal in last one month
Let us tell that Nepal has experienced an earthquake for the third time in the last one month. The devastation caused by the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that struck at 2:51 pm last month was yet to be compensated when this 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal once again. The 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Nepal was epicentered in Chanpur in Bajhang region.

Earthquake in Nepal has caused many incidents of landslides and collapse of houses and cracks. The good thing is that not much damage was done. Earthquake tremors were also felt across North India including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.
