The Education Minister said that the Punjab government will release cleaning funds for 8200 schools in the state. An amount of Rs 3000 will be released to a school with more than 100 students. Similarly, a fund of Rs 5,000 will be sent every month to a school with more than 500 children and an amount of Rs 10,000 will be sent every month to a school with more than 1000 children. He criticized the previous governments that no one before his government had taken the initiative to take such a step for cleaning the schools.
