Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu directed to postpone Saturday’s half -yearly school examinations after the singer’s death on Friday evening. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is in constant contact with Singapore officials in the death of singer Zubeen Garg. The Chief Minister has now announced that the post -mortem has been completed and his body is being handed over to Indian officials. A day after the death of Assamese singer Zubine Garg in Singapore, a video of her wearing a life jacket has surfaced online. 52 -year -old singer scuba was diving when it happened when the deadly accident occurred. In the video shared by India Today NE, Garg is visible in the last moments before his sad death. In the clip, singers are seen jumping into the sea to fix life jackets and enjoy swimming. Garg, who was about to perform at the North East Festival on Saturday, fell ill during a walk in the sea. Despite saving them and taking them to the intensive medical room, the doctors could not save them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on the demise of Assamese singer on X and wrote, “I am shocked by the sudden demise of popular singer Zubine Garg. He will be remembered for his rich contribution to music.”
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed condolences on this tragic incident on his X handle. He wrote, “Today Assam lost one of its most beloved sons. I lack a lack of words that I could tell what the Zubine used to matter to Assam. He left very early, it was not the age to go.”

Music composer Vishal Dadlani expressed grief in his X post, which said, “I am not sure. My mind is in shock, my heart is broken! My deep condolences to this, which this great legend touched.
Zubine Garg was honored for its identity to recognize Assamese music at the national level, he gained fame across India from ‘Gangster’ (2006), which was one of the most popular songs of Bollywood of his time.
