Zirakpur’s Sukhna Kaloni in construction of Valmirmi Kankey died with a 7-year-old innocent girl, a 7-year-old daughter of the building. The accident happened at the time when the baby pretents went to play a few steps away from home to Valmiki. The tank was in open condition of 5 feet deep water for the construction work. It is being said that the baby had fallen in the tank and leave out. When the laborer arrived on the spot to work at around 9:30, one of them saw the baby swimming in water.
After receiving the matter information, the baby’s family took him to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead. The child’s family members accused the contractor’s serious negligence and said that no security fence was put on the tank or surrounding. The lives of a innocent girl went due to this tank in the open way.
The girl’s father Virpal said he was a worker and his wife also works. Like every day, he went to work in the morning. When the girl did not know the girl moved to the building getting a close to the house playing. The family did not guess so close to his house waiting for him. According to locals, when a worker came to work on the site, he filled the girl from the tank, so he saw the girl swimming in water. He was expelled in early but by then he stopped. The surrounding people also helped but the girl could not be saved.
If the family considered, he was amazed after the death of the girl, and first creamed him. He then notified the police. Police are now investigating the case, but the family has clearly said that the girl’s death was due to neglector. Making so deep tank behind the building under the construction and give up and leave him and not to cover it, a heresy is negligence. If the tank is covered or there is a net or fence around it, this accident occur. People have demanded a strong action against contractors from the administration.

The locals said a warning board was not applied to the construction site, nor was there a barrier around the tank. The place was completely open and children keep playing there. People say that such negligent may cause a big event in the future.
