Sushant’s father lodged a complaint against Riya
About one and a half months after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, on 25 July 2020, his father K.K. Singh had lodged a complaint in Patna. In the complaint, he accused Riya Chakraborty of abetting Sushant to suicide. According to the complaint, Sushant had told his sister on a call shortly before his death that Riya publicly publicly threatens her to make her crazy. Sushant told the sister that he feared that Riya would implicate her in the case of former manager Disha Salian’s death. The complaint also claimed that Riya had gone with his medical reports a day before Sushant’s death.
Riya Chakraborty was in custody for 27 days
Investigation of this case also found information about money laundering and actors taking drugs. On 7 August 2020, Riya Chakraborty and her brother to Shawik were questioned by the Information Directorate in the money laundering case. At the same time, Riya and her brother were arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau on September 8 in the case of drug case. The basis of the arrest was Riya and toilet’s chat, in which they mentioned buying and supplying drugs. Riya Chakraborty got a bail from the Bombay High Court on 7 October after being in police custody for about 27 days. At the same time, toilet had to stay in jail for 3 months in a drug case.
