A youth has died after he was shot allegedly in joyous firing at a wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district. Police gave this information on Friday. Police said that Dharmendra Bhati (36) died after being shot in joyous firing at a wedding ceremony in Chola police station area on Thursday night. It is being told that he was a worker of a political party.
Superintendent of Police (City) Shankar Prasad said that a marriage procession from Ajaynagar of Kakod police station area had come to Khanpur village under Chola police station area. During this, Dharmendra got shot in the harsh firing done by a person named Sugriv with a licensed pistol. He was taken to Noida for treatment where he died.
A case has been registered in this regard on the basis of the complaint received by the family members and efforts are being made to arrest the accused person and recover the licensed pistol.
