A 20-year-old youth was arrested by the police for attacking a law student in north-west Delhi’s Sultanpuri area. An official gave this information on Thursday.
The officer said that on the basis of secret information, accused Saksham was caught near a post office in Bhiwani, Haryana. According to the police, Saksham was absconding since the FIR was registered.
Police said that on October 26, at around 12.30 am, law student Khushvinder Solanki (22) saw two youths urinating on the wall of his house in Pooth Kalan, to which he objected. Angered by this, both the youths – Saksham and Happy, residents of Begumpur, along with some other people, allegedly abused and assaulted Solanki and his friends.
A senior police officer said, “The complainant suffered injuries on his head and several parts of his body and was taken to the hospital. After he was declared healthy, his statement was recorded.
