Actor Anthony Epolito, who is known for acting in films like ‘The Offer’ (2022) series as well as ‘Purple Hearts’ (2022) and ‘Pixels’ (2015), will play the role of young Sylvester Stelon in the upcoming film ‘I Play Rocky’. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Peter Fareelly, the film will show the story behind Stalon’s prestigious film ‘Rocky’ (1976).
This biopic of Amazon MGM will be directed by Peter Fareli, who won the Oscar for the direction of ‘Green Book’ (2018). Epolito will play the role of young stallone in this drama, reflecting the journey of an actor who faces impossible obstacles.

According to The Hollywood reporter’s report, Empolito tried tirelessly for Stallone’s role in ‘I Play Rocky’, reiterating the spirit of this story. The report mentions that the ‘The Offer’ actor prepared an audition tape himself without any request and sent it directly to the manufacturers. His adventurous effort brought color and got the lead role in ‘I Play Rocky’.
Reacting to Eppolito’s casting as Rocky, Stallon shared her photo on Instagram and captioned, “Filming starts on October 15, and I wish him all the best. Earlier, the 2023 Netflix documentary ‘Slea’ also showed Stallone’s struggle during an attempt to create ‘Rocky’ (1976).
