You gave Pok, but we will do the work of taking, Shah’s target at Congress, said- our leadership sends BrahMos, not a dossier

In response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Rajya Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah said in a special discussion on India’s strong, successful and decisive ‘Operation Sindoor’, saying that the Congress gave PoK (Pakistan -occupied Kashmir) to Pakistan but the BJP government will withdraw it. Speaking on the Pahalgam attack, Shah said that such barbaric crimes had never happened, where people were asked their religion before killing women and children. He said that at first we kept sending dosier only, but Narendra Modi responded to him (Pakistan) with Aerkrik and Surgical Strike … awe.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Amit Shah said that if it had happened under the Congress rule, the Ministry of External Affairs would have issued a statement. We send BrahMos missiles, not dosier. Amit Shah said that the Congress ruled the country for the longest time, but failed to take action on major security threats. He said, “We faced terrorism, Naxalism and extremism in the Northeast – and they did nothing.” Shah said that Operation Sindoor was not a declared war, but a reaction under India’s right to self -defense. He said that Pakistan begged the ceasefire and we stopped. He further said that this action was in line with the United Nations Charter.

Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress in Parliament and accused him of promoting separatism in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah said that the Congress supported Article 370 and 35A and this gave rise to separatist thinking in the valley. He further said that this separatism later turned into demand for independent state, which later became the basis of terrorism in Kashmir. He said, “All these terrorist organizations were allowed to be active due to the politics of appeasement of the Congress.”

Shah said in the Rajya Sabha that the government has systematically demolished the system supporting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah said, “Groups like Jamaat-e-Islami had taken a deep root that gave validity to separatism and fundamentalism. The system is no longer in existence.” The Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI), a socio-religious group, which was banned under the illegal activities (prevention) Act in 2019, has been accused of promoting extremist ideology in the valley for a long time and supporting separatist objectives. It had close ideological relations with Hezbul Mujahideen and was considered to be helpful in making youth radical through religious institutions, so -called schools and charitable institutions.

Shah said in the Rajya Sabha that terrorism is not completely over, but it is almost close to the end. Shah said, “Now you are asking if terrorism is over? The Congress has made the roots of terrorism so deep that it will take time to end. But I can say with full confidence that it is on the verge of ending.” Emphasizing a message for the Congress, he said that you have given a part of Kashmir to Pakistan, but stay relaxed, we are committed to recover Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).
