Union Minister of State for Science and Technology (Independent Charge) Jitendra Singh on Monday targeted the opposition parties, saying that it is surprising that the opposition cannot even praise India’s space achievements, while the country has demonstrated its abilities of the space sector in Operation Sindoor. Jitendra Singh said amid the slogans of opposition MPs in Parliament that you are angry with the earth, you are angry with the sky and today you are also angry with space. The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) also appreciated the role of space technology during Operation Sindoor, which was possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that some time ago, India’s ability was introduced through Operation Sindoor, the whole world considered India’s iron from the earth to the sky. Even during Operation Sindoor, the role of space technology also came to light 10 years after Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power.

Questioning the opposition parties for not doing enough work for the space sector while in power, Singh said that a new chapter in the space field began in 2014, when Prime Minister Modi took charge as Prime Minister for the first time. Why was our space department isolated for 60-70 years, and why continued to work slowly?
