World Updates: Russia’s Foreign Minister said-Western country, Asia-Pacific region changed the name in an attempt to fight India-China

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov said on Thursday that western countries are trying to clash India and China. Lavarov said this at a Culture without Borders Club program.

He said- Western countries are now calling the Asia-Pacific region as Indo-Pacific. By doing this, they are clearly showing their policy against China. With this, they are trying to hit our friends and neighboring countries India and China.

Lavarov said that western countries are also trying to weaken Asean in Asia. ASEAN is a group of 10 countries in South-East Asia, which promotes economic and security cooperation. These countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
