A private plane crashed on Saturday in the state of New York, USA. This plane with twin engines was two people. One person has died in the accident. The accident occurred near the Kopek area of Columbia County, where the plane crashed into the mud filled field.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Mitsubishi MU2B aircraft was going towards Columbia County Airport (near Hudson). However, about 30 miles from the airport, but crashed near Kopek.
Jacqueline Salvatore, the undersherif of Columbia County, expressed grief over the accident, saying that due to mud, bad weather and snow, relief and rescue teams are facing a lot of difficulty in reaching the spot.
The National Transportation Safety Board has sent a team on the spot to investigate the accident.
