Indian -origin American judge at Fort Bend County, Texas, USA. P. George was arrested on Friday on charges of money laundering.
There has also been allegations of disturbances in the wire fraud and election funding report on George. George has been working as a county judge since 2018. He is currently released on bail of 20 thousand dollars. If found guilty, he can be jailed for 10 years.
According to District Attorney, George is accused of money laundering of 30 thousand to 1.5 million dollars. George has dismissed all the allegations as a political conspiracy.

America flood situation due to heavy rains; 16 killed so far
Heavy rains and Tornado have caused havoc in the southern and middle-western states of America. So far 16 people have died. Of these, 10 deaths have occurred in Tennessi. Due to continuous rains for the past several days, there are flood -like conditions in areas from Texas to Ohio.
The Meteorological Department has warned that in some places the water level of rivers may increase further in the coming days. Deaths are also reported in Missouri, Kentki and Archensaw. In Missouri, a person drowned after getting out of the flowing vehicle.
A 9 -year -old child and a 74 -year -old elder died in Kentki, while a 5 -year -old child died in Archensaw. Tornado, who came early this week, has completely destroyed many residential areas and have at least 7 deaths.
