In the inauguration ceremony to be held at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati, ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, a special musical tribute will be paid to Assam’s cultural celebrity Zubeen Garg and also five thousand free tickets will be distributed for the inauguration match on Mangwar. Officials of the Assam Cricket Association said that apart from Shillong Chamber Quair, the state’s leading artists including Angrag Papon Mahant and Joi Barua will present musical tributes.
