An 89 -year -old woman died in a flight by Indigo Airlines going from Mumbai to Varanasi. After this, the aircraft had to make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Airport in Maharashtra.

Airport officials said the woman was a resident of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. His name was Sushila Devi. She boarded a flight from Mumbai. His health deteriorated during the flight.

Due to medical emergency, the aircraft was landed at Chiklathana Airport at around 10 pm on 6 April. He was investigated by the medical team at the airport, but by then he had died.

The official said that the MIDC CIDCO police station completed the necessary action and the aircraft left for Varanasi. While the body of the woman was sent to the government hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
