Navjot Singh Sidhu met Harish Rawat, in-charge of Punjab Congress affairs for the first time today after resigning from the post of Congress state president. Though it was said that the meeting was on organizational matters of Punjab, Sidhu’s temper seems to have softened after that.
There, Harish Rawat has hinted at retaining his post but has not fully clarified the situation. He said that the situation would be announced tomorrow, which is still confusing him as the state president.
Regarding this, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat said that Navjot Sidhu had made it clear that he would accept the decision of the Congress President. In this regard, he has been given clear instructions that he should act as the President of the Punjab Congress and establish an organizational structure. Rawat said it would be announced tomorrow.

On the other hand, Navjot Singh broke his silence after meeting the Congress High Command and said that he had conveyed his concerns about Punjab and the Punjab Congress to the party high command. I am confident that whatever decision the Congress President, Priyanka Ji and Rahul Gandhi take will be for the betterment of Punjab and the Congress. I will obey their every command.
