Television actor Ashish Kapoor, famous for his roles in many hit Hindi serials, has been arrested in Pune for rape. He was arrested after a woman’s complaint that Ashish had sexually assaulted her during a house party in early August. According to the police, an FIR was registered at the Civil Lines Police Station in Delhi. According to the police, the complainant has alleged that Ashish had assaulted him in the bathroom during a house party in Delhi in the second week of August. The FIR was registered on 11 August, after which the police started searching for him.

In her initial complaint, the woman named Kapoor, her friend, friend’s wife and two unidentified persons. Later, he changed his statement, alleging that only Kapoor beat him up. He claimed that the incident took place inside a toilet located at the scene.
The woman further alleged that the video of the assault was also recorded, although the police have said that no such footage has been recovered yet. He also accused the friend’s wife of assaulting her outside the toilet. Significantly, this woman made a PCR call to inform the police. The investigation is still going on and no formal allegations have been made against other persons mentioned in the FIR.

Who is Ashish Kapoor?
Born on 17 October 1984 in Delhi, Kapoor started his career as an interior designer before appearing in acting more than a decade ago. He started his acting career with ‘Shashsh … Phir Koi Hai (2010)’.
Over the years, he became a well -known face on Indian television, he worked in popular serials including ‘Moon Chhupa Badal Mein’, ‘Love Marriage or Arranged Marriage’, ‘Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar’, ‘Saraswati Chandra’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Molki – Molkki – Anection of Relationships’ and ‘She’.
His breakout role ‘Dekha Ek Khwab’ came in the form of Udayveer Singh (Uday), where his chemistry with lead actor Priyal Gore attracted him.
His personal life has also continuously attracted the attention of the media. Kapoor dated his ‘Dekha Ek Khwab’ co-star Gore and Albanian model ILBAN CONI CONI in 2021 before making an engagement with TV producer Pearl Gray. The couple also got tattoos “do not separate us”.
