It will be a matter of the 80s. A boy from Allahabad University was giving paper in the exam hall. Suddenly he looked at the stage in front. He started wondering if I can perform here too? He made up his mind and started doing theater. The first film while theater- Bandit Queen. The role was of Phoolan Devi’s husband Puttilal. So frozen in the role that they moved forward again.

Then Ram Gopal Varma’s eye was noticed. Gave work in the film Satya. Impressed everyone by playing the inspector in it. One of the affected people was CID producer BP Singh. He gave him work in his show. After which Udaya was done by Senior Inspector Abhijeet.

We are talking about actor Aditya Srivastava, who has entertained the audience for more than 21 years. Born on 21 July 1968 in Prayagraj, Aditya has also appeared in famous films like Black Friday, Bhakk, Kalo and Super-30.

Today the story of Aditya Srivastava in success story ..

Giving the exam, she looked at the stage, then everything changed

Aditya’s father was a manager in the bank. They used to be transferred. Due to this, Aditya has also done schooling in different parts of UP. However, he has graduated from Allahabad University. During his studies, he became a trend towards acting. He was giving the first year paper. Suddenly, while giving the paper, he looked at the blue stage in front. Aditya was lost for some time after seeing that stage. He made up his mind to perform on that stage. Then he worked in the drama Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja of Bharatendu Harishchand. In this way, he did two-three years a theater.

Not movies, the theater seemed to be in the theater

In 1989, Aditya moved from Prayagraj to Delhi. Sri Ram did 5 years theater in Center for Performing Arts there. At that time, Tigmanshu Dhulia was casting on Shekhar Kapoor’s film Bandit Queen. Aditya also joined that film.

In the initial stages, Aditya’s mind was not in films, but in theater. There may not have been money in the theater, but there was a passion to work there. Money was not even in mind. Perhaps this is why it took him a long time to come to Mumbai from Delhi. Most of his theater friends had already moved to Mumbai.

Aditya played Phoolan Devi's ruthless husband Putti Lal in the Bandit Queen.

Gave your voice in ad shows to earn money

Aditya did not get much work in Mumbai initially. Sometimes, he used to sit with friends and share sorrow and happiness. Aditya said, ‘My friends were also struggling, that is why I was not so sad. I started working a little early than my friends. To earn money, ads used to do voice overs in films. Meanwhile, he also worked in many TV serials. However, I never wanted to stick to just one place. After working in some TV shows, I made up my mind to focus on films.

First played criminal in CID, then Inspector Abhijeet became

Aditya got the film Satya in 1997, which in the true sense. If there was no satya, then perhaps CID is not available. Aditya said, ‘Actually, I played an inspector in Satya, which the show’s producer BP Singh ji liked it very much. They asked me to work in CID. Initially, I kept running away from it, because I had two-three films. However, meanwhile, the criminal was rolled in an episode. The makers liked my work. He offered me the role of an inspector. I thought that I will do 26 episodes in the beginning, I will remain in two-three months, what goes. But gradually it became an integral part while working in the show. However, I used to do middle films too. It was kind to the CID makers that whenever asked for time, they never refused.

Gave money to the makers so that the film could be made, while in the side role

In 2000, Aditya’s film ‘Dil Par Le Yaar’ was released. There is an interesting anecdote related to this film. Director Hansal Mehta cast Manoj Bajpayee as the lead role. For some reason, Manoj withdrew from this film. Hansal then asked Aditya to play the lead. Aditya was ready, but due to Manoj’s departure, the producers withdrawn. Then Manoj returned and agreed to the film. Aditya was again asked to lead seconds. They were also ready. Money started to face a problem in the middle shooting. Hansal had a challenge to finish the film. Then Aditya took out his gathering and gave it to Hansal, so that the film becomes complete. It is a very big thing that despite being an actor, Aditya helped the makers, that too in the film where he had a supporting role.

Naseeruddin Shah and Irfan refuses and got a role in Black Friday

Aditya Srivastava was seen in another famous film Black Friday after Satya. The film was made on the 1993 Mumbai serial blast. Aditya played Badshah Khan in the film. However, director Anurag Kashyap’s first choice for this role was Naseeruddin Shah and Irfan Khan. Both refused to do the film. Anurag then gave this role to Aditya, in which he was completely successful.

People did not have fans of his films, did not have a typist

Aditya may have worked on the same TV show 21 years, but it is not that he became a type cast. His characters in films are also memorable. Aditya says, ‘The audience likes to see different things. I also find some people who are fans of my films. He talks to me about the film Bhakkshak and my character of Black Friday. As far as CID Inspector Abhijeet is concerned, the range of fans is a bit bigger. We should go to any corner of the country, some people are found who must have seen CID at some time.

Aditya Srivastava has now returned as Senior Inspector Abhijeet in the second season of CID. Once again, ACP Praduman, Inspector Abhijeet and Inspector Daya have returned to the trio.
