US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed that when there was a war between India and Pakistan, the US “directly joined” and US President Donald Trump both managed to establish peace between the nuclear -rich neighbors.
Trump has reiterated his claim several times since May 10 that he helped “finish” the tension between India and Pakistan and asked the two countries that America would “business” with them if they stop the struggle.
At the same time, India has been continuously saying that agreed to end military conflict with Pakistan was made after direct talks between the Directorate of Military Operations (DGMO) of the two armies.
Rubio said in an interview for ‘the World Over’ program of ‘EWTN’ on Thursday that Trump is committed to peace and he is “President of Shanti”.
He said, “And so we saw that when there was a war between India and Pakistan, we directly joined it and the President (Trump) was able to establish peace.”
Rubio, while referring to other conflicts, including Cambodia and Thailand, Azerbaijan and Armenia and the Conflict between the Democratic Republic and Rwanda, said that Trump also helped him resolve them. The US Secretary of State said that he was proud of these initiatives. He said, “We dedicate a lot of time to stop and end wars.
