A sudden wheat crop caught fire due to electric short circuit in Khuh, a border village of Fazilka, during which about four canal wheat crops were burnt to ashes. On the spot, people gathered and controlled the fire with the help of a tractor.

Giving information, Kulwinder Singh, the sarpanch of village Mohammad Pira, said that a sudden fire broke out in the wheat crop of a farmer in the village Vaisakhi Khuh. Due to the fire from electric short circuit, the standing crop of wheat was completely hit by the fire.
