The wheat crop caught fire due to fire in Barnala district of Punjab. Police have registered a case against two farmers for burning wheat crop in village Shehna. The police have taken action on the basis of the complaint.

According to SHO Vijaypal of Shehna Police Station, action has been taken against Harpal Singh and Sukhdarshan Singh on the complaint of Gurjant Singh. Gurjant Singh said that his land is adjacent to the land of the accused farmers.
The complainant had warned not to set fire
The complainant told the police that when he was present in his farm, Harpal Singh was running a tudi making machine. Sparks were coming out of the machine. Gurjant Singh warned Harpal not to do so, but he did not listen.
Due to the sparks coming out of the machine, the wheat crop standing on several acres was burnt. Farmers have suffered heavy losses due to this incident. The police have registered a case against both the accused and started legal action.
