Two of these groups are estimated to be connected to the Chinese intelligence agencies, while the third group is investigated. In the published blog post, Microsoft said that Microsoft has seen two designated Chinese nation-state elements, linen typhoon and violet typhoon taking advantage of these vulnerabilities by targeting internet-facing Sharepoint servers. In addition, we have tracked another China-based threat, which has been tracked as Storm-2603. The disclosure is made amidst a comprehensive cyber exploitation campaign, which is estimated to be involved in many hacking institutions.
