Congress’s foreign affairs chief Sam Pitroda has created a new controversy with his statement in which he said that he felt like a home during his visit to Pakistan. This comment led to sharp political reactions and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Congress of taking a soft stand towards Islamabad. Aam Aadmi Party Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj said on the statement of Congress leader Sam Pitroda that we have nothing to do with Sam Pitroda and Udit Raj. These two are people associated with Congress. What the Congress thinks about Pakistan, we do not have any heart in it. We believe that the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir should have withdrawn the central government.

Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda has launched a debate with his comments on foreign policy. He has urged India to prioritize strong relations with his neighboring countries Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Sharing his personal experience, Pitroda said that I have gone to Pakistan and let me tell you that I felt like home there. I have gone to Bangladesh, I have gone to Nepal and I feel like home there.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a scathing attack on the Congress over Rahul Gandhi’s ally Sam Pitroda’s recent remarks and accused this oldest party and its leaders of insulting India’s sovereignty. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari also alleged that the Congress did not take any action against Pakistan after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack as it had ‘immortal love’ from Islamabad.
