Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav on Sunday dedicated a seven -wicket win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup to the armed forces of the country and said that his team is with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Suryakumar made this comment after his team’s second consecutive win in the tournament. This was the first cricket match against traditional rivals after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ on terrorist attacks in Pahalgam and cross -border terrorist Thikano.
Suryakumar told the broadcaster channel after the match, “I think this is a great opportunity. I want to say that we are standing with the victims and their families of the Pahalgam terror attack and express our solidarity. ,
He said, “The most important thing for me is that we want to dedicate today’s victory to all our armed forces who showed indomitable courage and hope that they will continue to inspire us and whenever we get a chance, we will give them more reasons to smile on the field. ,
The Indian team players do not appear to be shaking hands with Pakistani players after the match, as teams usually do after a match. Earlier, at the time of the toss, both the captains did not join hands and Salman Aga of Pakistan.
Pakistani captain Salman did not even come for the Aga Awards ceremony. Later coach Mike Hessen told the media that he has not come because of what happened after the match. Suryakumar Yadav also said that this victory is a ‘return gift’ for the countrymen on his birthday.
Suryakumar said, “This victory is a pleasant feeling and this victory is the best ‘return gift” to India. I always try to stay at the crease till the end and I am happy to finish the match today. ,

The wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ in the second consecutive match. He said, “I did not do anything different. I just focused on implementing the strategy.
