Water power minister tested Modi’s pace of developed India in Bihar, 11500 crore schemes reviewed

Bihar is becoming a witness to the vision of the developed India of the respected Prime Minister Modi. Modi ji has allocated budget for various schemes along with special package for the development of Bihar. Today Water Power Minister C.R. Patil ji also came to Bihar, where he directly inspected the progress of the ongoing projects related to the Ministry of Flood Control and Water Power. The Government of India has allocated a budget of 11500 crore (eleven thousand five so crore rupees) for this. This ambitious scheme will not only control flood control, as well as millions of farmers of Bihar will benefit from the irrigation project.

During this time, the Minister discussed the progress of schemes related to departmental works with officials of the Water Resources Department of the Government of Bihar at Patna Airport, after that the Birpur Barrage and the Kosi -Mechi Interstate Link Project were reviewed by an aerial survey. After departing from Birpur Airport in Supaul district, aerial inspection of the Western Kosi Canal Project (ERM) and Bagmati embankment was also done.

In Bihar, flood management and water resource development will ensure speed and effectiveness of important projects. This visit of Shri Patil ji is very important for the Modi government’s plans to reach the ground with full transparency.
