After this, the sandalwood on the body of God was removed with a silver spoon.
Special prayers were performed to God, which came in their real form. The hereditary trustees of the temple, Pusapati Ashok Gajpatiraju and his family members were first darshan and offered the first sandalwood to the Lord. Later, Revenue Minister Angani Satya Prasad presented silk clothes on behalf of the state government.
