New Delhi. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Tuesday successfully conducted two back-to-back tests of the Very Short Range Air Defense System (VSHORADS) missile from Chandipur in Odisha.
The Ministry of Defense said that the test was carried out from a launcher used by a person on the ground. The missile hit the drone flying at high speed during the test. The ministry said that the missile successfully hit the target and met all the prescribed parameters.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh while congratulating DRDO and industry partners said that this missile is equipped with special technology and will strengthen the strength of the armed forces. (agency)
