The Supreme Court, former Congress MP Y. S. T. Gangi Reddy, an accused in the murder of Vivekananda Reddy, was granted interim bail on Tuesday. Justice MM Sundresh and Justice N. A bench of Kotishwar Singh provided this relief.

Vivekananda Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y. S. Jagan Mohan was the uncle of Reddy. In March 2019, his body was found in suspicious condition at his residence in Pulivendula in Kadappa district.
