The 60th match of IPL 2023 between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore is being played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this match, after winning the toss, Faf du Plessis decided to bat, where Virat Kohli, who entered the field as the opener, created history. Kohli has become the first player to play 250 matches for one team in T20 cricket. He has been a part of RCB since 2008 and has been consistently performing for his team.

In the match being played against Rajasthan Royals, RCB won the toss and went to bat first, where there was a partnership of 50 runs between Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis for the first wicket, but Kohli was dismissed on the score of 18 (19). As soon as he stepped on the field, Virat created history and became the first and only player to play 250 T-02 matches for a single team. Virat Kohli, who joined RCB as a youngster in 2008, is a part of this team till date, he has played 235 matches in IPL and 15 matches in Champions League for RCB.

Kohli is also the highest run-scorer in the tournament as he has scored 7062 runs in 235 IPL matches so far at a strike rate of 129.29 and an average of 36.40. Meanwhile, he has scored 5 centuries and 50 fifties with his bat.
