It became difficult to take the procession due to the roadways being completely submerged. Kamlesh Ram told reporters on Thursday that the wedding was eclipsed due to floods. In such an odd state, the family decided to take the procession by boat.

A procession came out on a decorated boat from under the embankment near Gangauli village. The groom Rajesh, wearing a safa, sat on a boat in a traditional dress and came out with him on two boats. The groom’s father Kamlesh Ram said that the wedding date was already decided and it was not possible to cancel it, hence it was decided to take the procession by boat. On the other side The flood situation in Muzaffarpur and Saran districts of Bihar has become difficult. The embankments have been broken due to the rise in the water level of the rivers, the villages are isolated and the necessary road connectivity have been broken. Thousands of people are trapped and their livelihood is in danger.
In Muzaffarpur, the Bagmati River is in dangerly boom, especially in Aurai block, where the water level has increased more than three feet, causing panic among the local people. On Tuesday, the Chachari bridge in Babhnagama Eastern Tola was completely swept away in strong sections. This bridge was the only lifeline for many villages, which is now completely submerged.
