In Ajit Nagar of Kapurthala, a robbery incident has come to light in broad daylight. In the incident, the thief escaped with a LED TV from a closed kothi. Gurmail Singh, the owner of the house, went to Shri Hazur Sahib with his family.

When he returned home, when he examined the CCTV footage, the entire incident was captured in the camera. It is clearly visible in the footage that the thief first came in with the gate and then escaped from the same path with LED TV.
Gurmel Singh said that he himself searched for a thief and TV, but no clue was found. After the CCTV footage went viral on social media, the police have started an investigation to identify the thief. Local people say that there are many theft incidents in the area, causing an atmosphere of fear among the people. Gurmel Singh has demanded the police to increase patrolling in the area.
