Thieves were seen loading rice sacks in CCTV.
In Raikot, Punjab, thieves stole 125 sacks of rice from a sheller. This theft is done in Shiv Shankar Agro Food Sheller in Raikot’s village Johla. The thieves broke into the sheller after closing the wall. The sacks in the truck fled. This theft incident is captured in CCTV camera

Complainant Satish Singla, resident house number 747B Agnagar Ludhiana said that his rock is in village Johla. 40, 694 sacks purchased by the PNSP agency under government procurement of 2024-2025 paddy were kept here. Instead, he had to return 205, 84 sacks of rice to the government.
On March 2, Satish Singla went home after explaining the workers. On March 3, when he reached the sheller, the foreman present there told that the shaleer’s garender was not running. His wires were cut. On suspicion, Satish checked CCTV cameras installed in the sheller.
Police did not find a clue of thieves even after one month Some people were seen picking up sacks in the footage. On checking all the cameras, it was found that the thieves broke the wall at 11:30 pm and entered the sheller. By 2:30 pm, 125 sacks escaped by loading rice (about 60 quintals) in a truck.
Information about the incident was given to the police of Sadar Raikot police station. ASI Gurnam Singh said that a case has been registered against the thieves. Police have taken CCTV footage captured. He said that the investigation of the case is going on, the thieves will be caught soon.
A month later, when the police officer was asked for registering the case. So the investigating officer Gurnam Singh said that the victim kept investigating himself for a month. But when the victim did not find any clue of the thieves. So the complaint was given by the victim yesterday. The police immediately took action and registered a case. But the victim says that on the day of the incident, the police had called and informed them.
