At least four people died after a car carrying seven people carrying seven people landing in a swollen canal on Wednesday amid heavy rains in Haldwani in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, including a four -day -old baby. 2 pilgrims killed in landslide on Yamunotri’s trek route
Officials said two pilgrims were killed when a landslide was hit near the 9 scissors Bhairav temple on the trek route of Yamunotri temple in Uttarakhand on Monday. The dead bodies of the two were taken out of the rubble, while a pilgrim from Maharashtra was already rescued in an injured state and was admitted to the hospital.
The Center said the landslide was about 20 meters above the trek route. Meanwhile, the injured pilgrim – Rasik – Mumbai’s Rasik – was taken to a primary health center in Jankichtti, where he was stitched and given first aid.
