Five people have died in an accident of uncontrolled Alto car collision with a dumper running in the second lane on National Highway 2 in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. A police officer gave this information.

The officer said that the accident occurred in front of Kakodha village on the national highway in Kokhraj police station area. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar said that late evening, an Alto car going from Prayagraj towards Kanpur, uncontrolled in front of Kakodha village and hit a dumper in another lane after hitting the divider.

He said that three people in the car died on the spot in this accident, while two people, including a woman injured in the accident, died during treatment. The official said that the two dead have been identified as Raj Bahadur (55) and Aditya Kumar (35), residents of Amra village in Fatehpur district. He said that the remaining three people have not been identified.
