Uttar Pradesh: Mayawati will address ‘Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan’ meeting on Wednesday

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati will address a special divisional level meeting of the party’s ‘Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan’ in Lucknow on Wednesday. This is part of efforts to strengthen the party’s reach among the Muslim community. According to a statement issued from the BSP’s Uttar Pradesh office on Tuesday, the meeting will be held on October 29 at 11 am at the party’s state headquarters at 12- Mall Avenue.

This will be a special divisional level meeting which will be held as part of efforts to further integrate the Muslim community in BSP. The party said that Mayawati will be the chief guest at the event.

The statement further said that the BSP president will also talk about the recent instructions issued by the Election Commission in the matter of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. Earlier this month, the BSP had held a public meeting in Lucknow on October 9, the death anniversary of the party’s founding Dalit leader Kanshi Ram.
