US relaxes travel rules amid declining corona cases, India reaches level 2

The US had imposed travel bans on India, which was badly affected by the second Corona wave. But now, in view of the declining corona cases in India, the US has slowed down its travel to India.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has now issued a Level 2 Travel Health Notice for India, which represents the average level of Covid-19 in the country. “If you are fully vaccinated with an FDA-approved vaccine, your risk of developing severe coronavirus symptoms in your body may be reduced,” the State Department said.
