US administration resumed to send some weapons to Ukraine

The administration, headed by President Donald Trump in the US, has started sending some weapons to Ukraine. US officials gave this information on Wednesday.

The move has been taken at a time when the US Ministry of Defense headquarters ‘Pentagon’ said a week ago that it is currently stopping Ukraine from a air strike missile, accurate target cannons such as sending some weapons.

This order was given because the US is worried about the fact that its reserves of its own weapons have reduced. Two US administration officials said on the condition of keeping their identity confidential that the weapons being sent to Ukraine include 155 mm of ammunition and accurate attack rocket GMLRS (directed multiplication rocket system).

However, it is not yet clear when weapons were started to be sent. An official of the US President’s official residence and office ‘White House’ said on Wednesday on the condition of anonymity that no “restriction was imposed” when the consignment was sent, but it was reviewed to ensure that American military assistance was in line with its defense strategy.

The official said that ‘Pentagon’ never announced the ban. US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth had directed last week to stop a consignment of some weapons in Ukraine, so that his ministry could review its arms reserves.

A few days after the announcement of the ‘Pentagon’, President Donald Trump said on Monday that the US would continue to give defensive weapons to Ukraine. On the question of sending more weapons to Ukraine, Trump told reporters, “We have to do so. They have to be able to protect themselves. ”

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Air Force on Wednesday claimed that Russia attacked Ukraine on Tuesday night with 728 ‘Shahid’ and ‘Dicoy’ drones and fired 13 missiles. Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky said the city Lutsk is the most affected in the North Western Ukraine and the city Lutsk located near the Belarus border while 10 other areas have also been attacked.
