Urvashi Rautela recently claimed in an interview to Dainik Bhaskar that he had a temple near Badrinath Temple in Uttarakhand. When he was asked if he was worshiped in the temple, he said that obviously worship is done in the temple. Urvashi’s claim is now disputed. From priests, people are also criticizing him fiercely. Meanwhile, now the actress team has issued an official note and clarified it.
In a statement issued by Urvashi Rautela’s team, it has been said-
Urvashi said that there are temples named after me in Uttarakhand, not Urvashi’s temple. Now people do not even listen to things in a manner. Just listening to Urvashi or temple, they believe that people worship Urvashi. Listen to this video properly and then speak. Urvashi had said that she was worshiped as Damdami Mai at Delhi University. It also has a news article. Legal action should be taken against those who spread confusion on Urvashi’s statement. Complete the facts before making unfounded allegations or derogatory comments against any person. Everyone in the society should treat each other with respect and understanding, so that everyone’s rights can be protected.
Urvashi had said- I want my temple to be built in South too
Let us tell you that Urvashi had clearly said in an interview to Dainik Bhaskar that she has a temple, not that she has a temple named. Apart from this, she also said in an interview to Siddharth Kanan that she wants her temple to be built in South after Uttarakhand because she is now working in South. When the actress was asked whether people in the temple bow their heads, the actress also said that if there is a temple, people also worship.
Badrinath’s priest warns
After Urvashi’s statement surfaced, Bhuvan Nautiyal, the former Dharmadhikari of Badrinath Dham, was enraged. He said, local devotees come and go to the mother Urvashi temple. There are many religious events in the temple on the occasion of Navratri. Maa Urvashi temple is seen connecting with Lord Shiva. The former Dharmadhikari said that it is not right to connect the temple of Goddess with her name.
On the claim of Urvashi Rautela, Amit Sati, president of Brahma Kapal Tirtha Purohit Samaj, said, ‘Urvashi’s statement has hurt the feelings of Hindus. Urvashi apologize on her statement, otherwise be prepared for the result.
Let me tell you, the mother Urvashi temple is located in Bamani village of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Bamani village is about one kilometer from Badrinath Dham. Most of the devotees coming to Badrinath Dham also visit this temple.
