Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has gone down in the country. Apart from this, services of more than 10 banks have also been affected. The information about what caused this technical disturbance has not been revealed.
According to the dowdater, users are facing problems in paying UPI from 7 pm on Wednesday evening. More than 23,000 users complained that fund transfer, payment and login are not being accessed.
Apart from Google Pay, Paytm, services of more than 10 banks including HDFC, Axis are affected. The phone pay services have been operational after about 2 hours. However, some users are facing problems.
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) said, “Users have faced temporary technical problems, which led to partial obstruction in the UPI. Now these problems have been overcome. The system is stable. ‘
82% people difficult to pay According to the dowdatector, about 82% of people are having problems in paying. At the same time, 14% of people are having difficulty in fund transfer and access to about 5%.
