Meat shops in Delhi will remain closed during the Kavad Yatra, which runs from July 11 to July 23. This information was given by Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kapil Mishra. However, the minister did not clarify whether this ban would apply only to meat shops falling on the pilgrimage route. Mishra told reporters that most of these meat shops are illegal anyway and they should not run according to the law. But they will be specially closed during the Kavad Yatra. He said that there is no need for demand about this. They will be specially closed during the Kavad Yatra. These are all illegal shops and we cannot allow them to operate during the Kavad Yatra.
