UP: Former Kannauj MP Chhote Singh Yadav dies, Akhilesh Yadav paid tribute

Chhote Singh Yadav, the founding member of Samajwadi Party (SP) and a three -time MP from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, died on Friday in a hospital in Lucknow after a long illness. Family sources gave this information.

On the death of Chhote Singh Yadav, Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expressed his condolences and paid tribute.

Former MP Chhote Singh Yadav won the Kannauj Lok Sabha seat in 1980, 1989 and 1991. A few days ago, SP MP Akhilesh Yadav from Kannauj reached the hospital and met Chhote Singh Yadav and inquired about his treatment.

SP chief Yadav said in a post on X on Friday, “The death of the pioneer of the cooperative movement, the founding member of the Samajwadi Party and Mr. Chhote Singh Yadav, who was MP from Kannauj and MLA from Chibramau, is very sad.
