Unity of Thackeray brothers on Hindi in Maharashtra, Sanjay Raut told CM Stalin’s stand separate

On the state government’s decision to re-include Hindi as the third language in Maharashtra, the cousins Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, who were separately, came together and celebrated. Now, on Sunday, the Uddhav Sena has slightly separated himself from the support of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, in which Stalin supported the Thackeray brothers in protest against Hindi. Uddhav Sena says that their opposition is limited to making Hindi mandatory only in primary schools.

Our fight is limited to here: Sanjay Raut

Uddhav Sena MP Sanjay Raut made it clear, ‘His (Stalin’s) stance against being imposed Hindi means that he will not speak Hindi nor will anyone let anyone speak Hindi. But our attitude in Maharashtra is not like this. We speak Hindi. Our attitude is that strictness for Hindi will not be tolerated in primary schools. Our fight is limited here.
Raut, clarifying that the Thackeray brothers’ stance is only against imposing Hindi in primary schools, wished Stalin in his fight, as well as drawn his limits. He said, ‘We have not stopped anyone from speaking in Hindi because we have Hindi films, Hindi theater and Hindi music. Our fight is only against imposing Hindi in primary education.
