Earlier, governor Gulab Chand Kataria met the Union Minister at the Amritsar airport and submitted the loss of the loss in 5 districts. These include Amritsar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran and Ferozepur.

The Agriculture Minister said two teams of the Center have already reached Punjab. These teams will assess the loss with the officials of various departments and produce a report, which will be given to the Prime Minister and the Union government.
