Union Minister for Communications and North Eastern Region Development and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, who has been visiting the flood -affected areas of his parliamentary constituency continuously for the last three days, reached the flood -affected Barkheda Jamal and Gora Bahadurpur villages at Mungavali in Ashokavali today. Where he met the families affected by floods and excessive years and heard their problems and inspected the situation of relief and rehabilitation works.
Financial assistance given to victim families
Union Minister Scindia today provided financial assistance to the disaster affected families present on the spot. He said that every possible suitable relief amount will be made available to the affected people by the administration. In the said disaster, 39 families have been affected in Barkheda Jamal village and 4 houses have been damaged and many families in Gora Bahadurpur village are also affected by extreme years and floods.
The Union Minister took information about the status of electricity, water and ration distribution from the affected people and assured to provide early compensation for the damage of crops and loss of houses.
Despite the rain, the visit to the flood areas continuously for the third day
In the four -day stay in his parliamentary constituency, Union Minister Scindia has been visiting the flood affected areas for three consecutive days, while the rain is still going on in these areas.
He is going to the spot and watching the progress of rehabilitation works and is making sure that every affected family can help.
Dialogue with the affected and instructions to the authorities
Today, in these flood affected villages of Mungavali, Scindia interacted directly with the families living in the relief camp and heard their problems. He instructed the administrative officials present there to ensure relief material, electricity-water and necessary arrangements smoothly. Scindia along with local MLA, Divisional President and senior officials of the district administration were also present during this visit.
Guna city flood affected posh colonies will be visited
During his busy schedule, the Union Minister will reach Guna city today and meet the flood affected VIP Colony, New City Colony, Shiv Colony and other areas. During this time, he will express his condolences by going to the homes of the families who have lost their loved ones in the disaster and will also provide them proper compensation amount.
