Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Friday that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving forward with balance in both development and heritage.
Shinde said that India can be made a world guru again only with the joint power of scripture and weapons. In his address as the chief guest at the inauguration of the scripture and research center at the Ashram Dharmasangh Math of Shri Krindri Ji Maharaj, Durgakund in Varanasi, Shinde said, “Such an initiative in Kashi is going to re -awaken the cultural soul of India.” This institute is not only a museum, but a symbol of eternal life vision.

On this occasion, UP Ayush Minister Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu said, this museum will prove to be helpful in attracting the general public, especially the youth towards the scriptures. Bhujang Bobade, president of the scripture museum and research center, said, Kashi has been the center of knowledge, meditation and philosophy for centuries. The establishment of this museum will prove to be an invaluable heritage for researchers and Sanskrit scholars.
