Ukraine attacked nuclear power plant: Russia

Russia accused Ukraine of drone attacks in the Western Curc region. The nuclear power plant caught fire after the attack. Ukraine carried out this attack on Russia at a time when he is celebrating the completion of 34 years of independence.

Russia officials said many electricity and power plants were targeted in overnight attacks. The United Nations nuclear monitoring body said that it had received information from the media that the plants caught fire in a transformer “due to the military action, but did not have a strong information about it.

The post said that Rafael Mariano Gossi, Director General of the Nuclear Monitoring Body, believes, “Every nuclear plant should be protected at all times.” Ukraine did not comment on the alleged attack. The regional governor reported that about 10 Ukrainian drones were hit and the same debris caught fire. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that its air defense systems stopped 95 Ukrainian drones in the Russian region by Sunday night.

Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia fired 72 drones and a cruise missile throughout the night, out of which 48 drones were either killed or were not allowed to reach the target.
