UK Voting Age: The right to vote at the age of 16 in Britain now, law is different from India in these countries too

The UK government announced that the age of voting in the country will be reduced from 18 to 16 years before the next general election. This step has been taken with the intention of increasing participation in democracy. In Scotland and Wales, youths of 16–17 years can already vote in local elections. Britain will now be included in the list of countries like Austria, Ecuador and Brazil, where voting is allowed in 16 years.
