Britain has reopened applications for its India Youth Professional Scheme from July 22, 2025 today. The scheme allows eligible Indian citizens between 18 and 30 years of age to stay and work in the United Kingdom for two years. Applications for free ballot (lottery system) will be open till 1:30 pm on July 24, 2025. This is the second and final ballot for 2025, after the first round ballot of February, which filled most of the 3,000 seats. Now elections are to be held on the remaining seats.

Qualification conditions of application for Indian citizens
Bellet Window: 22 July to 24 July (Closed at 1:30 pm Indian time)
Visa period: up to 2 years
Total seats in 2025: 3,000
Bellet seats in July: Limited (final round of year)
Admission Fee: Free to participate in ballot
Visa fee (if chosen): £ 319 + £ 1,552 health surcharge

After getting visa
After receiving the visa, candidates can stay in UK for two years.
During this time, they can do any job, study or travel.
– This visa cannot be renewed for more than two years.
– After completing two years, it will be mandatory for the candidate to return to India.
