Meanwhile, on Friday, Chandigarh Police received another call with bomb threatening, after which a high alert was issued around the Chief Minister’s Office of Haryana and other major government sites. Sources said that the caller threatened to blow up the Chief Minister’s office, after which the police immediately took action. Security has been tightened on both Haryana Secretariat and Chief Minister’s residence. As a precaution, bomb disposal squad and heavy weapons armed personnel searched and around these places. Officers are busy finding the source of the threat. No suspicious item has been found so far, but the situation is being closely monitored.
