U Mumba beat Bengaluru Bulls 46-30 in first match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 8

The 8th season of Pro Kabaddi League has started from December 22. In the first match of the Pro Kabaddi League played at the Sheraton Grand in Bengaluru on Wednesday, U Mumba defeated the Bengaluru Bulls 46-30. Abhishek Singh scored 19 red points for U Mumbai, while Pawan Sehrawat and Chandran Ranjit Singh scored 12 and 13 points respectively for Bengaluru Bulls.

The weaker the Bulls’ defense in this match, the stronger the Mumbai defense looked and that is why they managed to get the Bulls all out three times. Bengaluru Bulls captain Pawan Sehrawat won the first toss of the season 8 and chose the court (ground side). U Mumba was leading 12-9 in the first 10 minutes of the first half. After the first half, U Mumba was leading 24-17.

From the start of the second half, the Bengaluru Bulls improved their raid attack and tried to reduce U Mumbai’s lead. Bulls captain Sehrawat grabbed his momentum and scored several brilliant red points. On the other hand, Ranjit’s excellent form continued but the Bulls’ defense was constantly struggling. With just 10 minutes left in the match, U Mumbai was leading 32-24. After the strategic time out, there was a fierce competition between the two teams. But at the end of the match, U Mumbai had 46 points while the Bulls had 30 points. Thus, by defeating Bengaluru Bulls by 16 points, U Mumba won the first match of Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 8.
